History: bought the business in February of 2011, the business has been around since 2005.

 

What are some of your fav lines you carry in your store?
I love Yellow Owl Workshop, Elizabeth Street Cosmetics, L'Aromatica Perfume and Petite Collage. All are local, women-owned businesses. 

 

Any recommendations for delicious restaurants in San Francisco?
This is tough but for special occasions - Baker and Banker. For cheap eats, King of Thai - the original one on Clement Street!

 

What are some tips you could share with  future business owners
Before you decide to go into business, make sure you learn the ins and out first. You really have to love what you do in order for you to keep going and to be motivated. Owning your own business is an exciting and exhilarating endeavor but it's not easy!

 

What was the most challenging lesson you learned about  being a store owner?
Balancing the time I spend on my business and with my family. I have a 2 year old. Being both a business owner, a mom and a wife are all very demanding so finding the balance is very challenging.

 

Favorite parks for moms?
I love the Randall Museum.
